Little is known about Dregan, but one thing is well known: "he hates Rikti"

He does like to talk about his home planet, we think the rikti destroyed it, he might be the only survivor, he was not there during the rikti invasion.

Amy was despondent. “I don’t want to work in retail!” she exclaimed. But the latest D- left little recourse and she steeled herself for a semester of Liberal Arts. She wandered the musty old museums, often removing her glasses, as if a far-sighted veil could stave off intolerable boredom. When she stumbled upon the Circle of Thorns she assumed they were museum staff involved in a re-enactment of an ancient ceremony. They explained how she could earn extra credit for helping them with their work in the wing dedicated to some dumb old relics. It was too late when she realized something was wrong. In her panic she groped blindly for something to use as a weapon. She grasped the nearest relic and swung wildly. Suddenly she was filled with energy, energy she could will outward as a weapon. When the Circle was defeated she saw her chance to be a respected member of the scientific community.

“I can’t say I was ever thrilled with the idea of merging with a Kheldian, but looking back…I kind of miss it now. Well, I don’t miss sharing my body or my mind with an alien, but I miss it…the squid and I feel horrible for what happened to it. On the bright side, at least I don’t have to deal with that prick, Sunstorm, anymore.

It’s amazing though, that the merging with a squid managed to ‘cure’ me. No more cellular degradation cause of these powers….which means I can go back and get those responsible for all this in the first place, for what they did to me. And hey, I may even come across those Voids that felt it necessary to hunt me down while merged with the squid.

Relearning to use these powers is a bitch though.”
