Adversity Event

Welcome to another Adversity event!

The Cathedral of Pain Trial is not forgotten but we need to be a little more prepared. This week we will grab some Shivans for everyone so bring a 50 or the toon you would like to bring on the Cathedral Trial. We will meet in Bloody Bay, talk to the Scientists and gather up some meteors. See below if you need some more info.

Once again the criminals of paragon are running amok, it is up to our time traveling/alternate dimension characters to stop them.

One of the most difficult trials in the game, we are given one hour to defeat Rularuu the Ravager and stop him from gaining ultimate power by piercing the barrier between his realm and our reality. This sounds like a job for Adversity!

One of the best things about this trial is that everyone can participate- you are allowed up to 24 characters and, while Level 50 toons are recommended, anyone from Level 35-50 can join us. The trial is balanced for 3 teams of Level 50 players so the more people we have, the better chance we will actually complete this.

We must have a base with a missions computer/oracle and a raid telepad/raid portal to start the trial and if we have more than one leader, they all must be in the hosting Supergroup. Members of the team can be in various SGs.

According to the Patch Notes, you will receive Merit Rewards, Temporary Powers and might earn a rare badge.

Well seeing as how a Fantasy Event has yet to be posted, how about we do a Prestige run? We will loot and pillage in the name of justice till our greedy hearts are satisfied in an effort to fund some much needed base features like energy and control. If we are really luck we might even be able to afford that fancy new in-door plumbing everyone is talking about!

So come on out and bring your Fantasy toons to the Justice server, heck you might even get a level or two out of it!

As this event is being posted late and I have only just got home from work, I am going to push the start time back an hour to 9:00pm.


(P.S. If anyone has some ideas on where/how to earn lots and lots and lots and lots of prestige/influence let me know please!)
