Auster, in ancient Rome, was the god of the south wind. He was known and fared for destroying crops with his drying, hot winds.
At an ancient temple to the wind gods, a young man found the altar dedicated to Auster. He began investigating it, examining the various carvings on the altar. A small door opened on the altar and within it was an ornately decorated statue.
As the oung man picked up the statue, a wind blew into the temple - startling him...causing him to drop the statue.
