Afraid your blood will run cold?
In ancient times, one of the gods within the Mu pantheon left earth and sought a new world where he could live in a more peaceful existence. The god traveled to a harsh arctic wasteland of a world, thinking this would be a last place he would be bothered.
The god nurtured the native lifeforms and over time some evolved into a more humanoid form.
