Would anyone who happens to have Terraria, (I know quite a few do.) like to assist me? I've tried previously to do a multiplayer connection on Terraria but failed. However, the GameRanger service, useful for playing games cross-OS, can also be used with Terraria to host games. No need for IP or port addresses.

My simple request: Someone with both Terraria and GameRanger, or willing to get GameRanger, help me test to see if it can be done with 'moderate' ease.

I've tested it as much as I can by myself, and it appears to work well.

Edit: I happened to look at the play time of the others in Adversity who have Terraria... Clearly it is not well liked by many. However: Perhaps playing on a server with some friends could turn you on to it?

Even if you still don't like it, Gameranger can be used to play a lot of games cross-OS, such as Hanna and I playing Borderlands.

Marq dug Terraria a bunch and wanted to play MP for awhile but at the time no one else was playing... I had a hard time getting used to the side scrolling nature of it. I'd give it another try though

I'm kinda stuck at Gameranger. I just don't want yet another piece of software on my computer I likely wouldn't use much. I do like hte idea of playing with my Mac friends more often.

I have Terraria, but have not ever loaded it up. I kinda find myself how Marq feels regarding Game Ranger service - but we'll see what we can do. I would enjoy trying out the game with our friends though

I understand the feeling about another piece of software. I was a bit wary about it myself when Hanna mentioned it.

I think Terraria could be incredible fun multiplayer, and in the hopes we would at some point manage it, I have been a bit of a pack-rat with gear I find. I could outfit an army with what I have gathered. Easily.
