Sorry I missed last night (though whoever made it online, let me know so I can update attendance). Sean, if you add us to your Steam Friends (you can find a list of our Steam IDs on the right side of this event or any other event managed by Steam), you should then be able to see who is in-game, and be able to join a friend in-game.

I tried, I did, but none of the IDs would add! I was surrounded by subtraction! ARGH!! 
I tried to add Pax, nothing happened. FX's Steam ID wasn't hyperlinked, and when I searched for it I couldn't find a Fallout_X User ID. And by the time I got around to checking Funcockler's ID, my ADHD had kicked in and I played an offline practice game followed by some running around in Grandville watching my Bots qwn arachnos while I /em danced. All in all a somewhat unproductive night. I'll try to join you guys for another Alien Swarm night. The game is good for a few hours of free ass-kickery.

Were you signed into Steam? You need to be signed into Steam to add us as friends (otherwise the hyperlinks in the profiles won't do anything as best I recall), so if you search for TransBat (my Steam ID), it should have found me, and then you could have sent me a friend request, which once confirmed, I'd show up in your friend's list.
There are others more "expert" in all things Steam related, so perhaps one of our Gurus can help us out. We also can get you added to our Adversity Steam group, which will make it much easier to find our other members

I was signed in, I was using the Steam search tool, not IE, to search for both your ID and FX's. When I typed in TransBat in the search box it said there was no one with that ID. Could it be b/c yours is private?

Possibly, but I'm pretty sure it if you did the whole Steam and add friends, it should have found me.
