Ember's Fun Run!

Wait, what?
That's right folks, it's Ember's Fun Run- a mad dash from Atlas Park to Peregrine Island as lowbies and when I say low I mean level 1!
Get excited! The grand prize is 25 MILLION INFLUENCE for the first person who gets to the finish line. But there are some rules:
-You must start as a level 1
-You cannot end the race any higher than level 2
-NO TRAVEL POWERS (this includes ninja run and teleportation across zones by third parties). Sprint is allowed.
-You must wear your "bathing suit".
-The race starts at 10:15 EST sharp. You snooze, you lose.
-Sign up so I can get an accurate race count- there will be consolation prizes!
Violations of the rules results in disqualification and immediate transport to the cone of shame
If you can, get on Vent for the countdown but it will also be available in the AdversitySG Channel.
Mini-Game: Craziest costume gets an additional 10 MILLION INFLUENCE. You can use accessories along with your bathing suit to allow for some creativity. Know your audience- this is totally subjective
We are starting in the lobby of City Hall in Atlas Park and ending at the Portal Corp sign in Peregrine Island. I'll be standing at the finish line. In the event of a tie, you will have to sing for me so hurry up!
After the run we will level up a bit and just have a great time together running missions and enjoying the morning. Can't wait to see everyone there!

NIce... I suggested this months ago and she gets "pure genius".
Unfortunately I can never make it to Saturday events.
On a side note, Maybe you should post this in the official forums to see if we can get some more recruits. Just saying.
Also you should make it clear that they need to RUN the entire way.
No base portals,
no trains,
no ferries (except Talos to PI.)
I can throw in 100 mil for this as well.

Thanks!!Maybe a test run (hehe) with Adversity on Tuesday and then server wide Saturday morning? Adversity members could be stationed at various zones throughout the run. That might be hard to monitor. I'm going on good faith with you guys (but maybe that's my first mistake

We did choose the route before hand, we also had ringers in the racers to make sure no one was cheating

A ringer is like a plant. We plant someone who is in the SG as a runner in the race. Kind of like an SG spy

Whaddaya mean no trains? Does that mean I can't just go through Vanguard?! And what about using a HEAT's inherent movement powers? Can I use my jump pack?

No Vanguard, it is using a portal.
Jump pack are only height, not distance. If you really want to try using it in a race go ahead.
You must RUN. Using a HEATs travel power is cheating.
IIRC the path we used was
AP > KR > Skyway> Talos> PI
If you want to make it a little more fun... make the contestants pick up a exploration badge in each zone.

Let's not turn this into a complicated race, the title says it's a fun run, and that's exactly what it should be.
1 Adverstiy & friends only.
2 I trust every one of you guys to follow the established rules.
2.1 No ringer needed.
3 badge collecting in each zone= no fun!
