Which is so messed up because it uses the Portal 2 engine, which is supposed to be being developed simultaneously for Windows and Mac OS X.
RBarris, one of the Mac developers for Valve, posted that it may or may not be released for Mac OS X and not to get our hopes up. I'm hoping he took my suggestion that developers "under promise and over deliver" and that someday it will make it to Mac OS X. I mean, I could totally understand if it were a third-party developer not bothering to make a Mac OS X binary, but it's a Valve project on the Portal 2 Source Engine which is their big multi-platform hoo haa. It just doesn't make sense that they wouldn't release for both platforms.
Whole thing just doesn't make sense to me. I'm never going to get rid of Vista at this rate.
(All that said, it's an insanely fun game. Which I guess is why I'm upset there's no Mac version.)

Just found an great article on Kotaku that points Alien Swarm gamers to some great new features/commands that have been found after the last update - including a working first person way to play this game!

Sheesh Marq, I'll make sure to get a Coffee emote for you and post it with news next time
There are other useful things like being able to enable an Xbox 360 controller as well - which I sure is considered blasphemous

Looks like a decent game. Already recruited a friend of mine because it's free. Considering actually buying L4D2 after playing this, but we'll see.

Marq, me, toon, and Hanna got a game in last night (Hanna joined us for the last mission), and it was fun~!
I'd not even fired the game up, and Marq just said "get in here and play!"
I liked it, I have to say. It's not easy to just jump in w/out knowing the controls and how to do shit, but I liked it anyway
