They forgot that Chechov was added because the Russian ambassador mentioned that the "supposed" utopian society of Star Trek didn't include any Russians.

My favorite part of this is the mention that "to boldly go where no man has gone before" is grammatically incorrect. =D
To be fair though, "To go boldly where no man has gone before" just doesn't have the same ring to it.

Her job on the ship may not seem that 'liberated' from our perspective, but she was definitely a first non-caucasian woman in a lot of roles because of that show.

Nobodies mentioning her affair with Roddenberry, who was apparently the real life Captain Kirk, bedding many of the women who passed through. Majel actually caught her nekkid on Roddenberry's couch as a 'birthday present'.

I guess I still don't know those things....
