Season 1 - Common Ground, State of the Game and More

State of the Game
STO Producer Craig Z gives us a look at the game from his view. Cryptic is really focusing on being transparent about what's coming up. We all know that this has bitten Jack Emmert in the ass before so there are plenty of warnings about not holding them to everything they post. But we all know how the players will react if they don't get something that's been "promised".
Tribble Server
The live server is known as Holodeck. The public test server is known as Tribble. Tribble went up late last week and is now available to use as a test server. Currently, they have parts of Season 1 on Tribble for testing. Read the release notes.
Season 1 - Common Ground
Formerly known as the 45 day update, Season 1 is gearing up for release in the next few weeks. Season 1 will allow Fed vs Fed PvP, off-duty uniforms, a web app for info on characters and ships, a new Klingon ship, two new fleet actions, the respec and new skills. More details here.
C-Store Update
As part of the Season 1 update, the Cryptic Store will be getting lots of new goodies including new bridges, new ship variants, a purchasable respecs, character renames and character slots. Also a few new playable species.
STF: The Cure
The next Special Task Force, "The Cure", will be released sometime next week. Players will have to battle the Borg as they seek to assimilate an entire planet.
