New Patch on Live Servers
July 15, 2009 - 8:36am
Just a heads up that a patch was released to the live servers this morning. Official patch notes are not up, but you can always visit the test server forum and peruse the various patch note threads to get an idea of what the patch includes.
I'm also hearing word of the super science pack going live this week as well.

I encountered them a few times - there were a couple of memorable moment.
1. Last night I was blind invited to a group that was running a mito AE - at level 3 I was happy to join any group. Unfortunately it is tough for a group of lowbies who can't read chat to build up enough damage to defeat the regenning blobs. By the time we started making headway half the team quit - very boring and not very productive. The leader of the group was the first to quit and 2 or 3 members of the pug chased him around Mercy for about 10 minutes broadcasting how lame he was - they were pretty creative in their descriptions of his family tree.
2. There was a popular farm that featured the blobs in a cave and all the dialogue revolved around the cave being intestines and the blobs being gas. I guess people were running this on autopilot and the person who made the arc added some tough enemies about 2/3 of the way through (called them TUMS) and people were team wiping all over the place.

Actually it was a Tapeworm AV.
I got 9 levels on my Empath with this mission. So much green jello on screen that I actually lost sight of my character a couple times.

Oh, and Posi definitely likes to play with Twitter 'cause about an hour ago he posted...
You don't want to end up like the brave, fallen, and genetically-altered personnel we've come across.
