Canada Day Celebrations!

Happy Canada Day!
Here's your one in game chance to be honorary Canadians!
Come on out in your best red, white, and maple jerseys and celebrate that big empty space that keeps the glaciers off American soil!
8 PM EST
We'll be meeting at the Donut shop in Faultline on Pinnacle for a themed costume contest with prizes, bad references to Rick Moranis movies, and maybe even some missions from guys like this:
I will personally be judging a costume contest and awarding prizes for the most 'Respectfully Patriotic' Canadian costume, as well as the most 'Tastefully Humourous' costume. I'm already picturing a long lineup of Red Greens .......
Unfortunately due to the exchange rate, what would normally have been prizes worth millions will end up being only several hundred thousand influence, along with a recipe for Grebthar's Hammer (ok it's Gabriel's Hammer, but I can try to get a local engraver to fix that....).

Woot! In honor of my win I am declaring this 'Canada week' and will wear my mounty costume and be polite all week!

I want to thank everyone who came out.
This was my first hosted event, and I really felt that everyone of you came out to support me, and not for the meager prizes.
Special thanks to Ember for posting the screenshots.
Blast took off so quickly, I still have his 'Gabriel's Hammer'. I'll have to meet up with you next time we're both on.
I blame Pax for not having a better turn out. If it weren't for him not showing up there would have been at least one more person there.

Next time I'll get help. I didn't realize being the only judge would cause so much pressure. Lukily I had two viable categories and one of the participants forgot to switch to a maple leaf chest piece, otherwise I would have been screwed!
I'll also give people more notice. Arranging your schedule and creating a good theme costume can take some time. In this case, I'd only thought of doing something for C Day yesterday morning when I was mind numbingly bored at work.
Thanks again to everyone!

For some reason that I can't fathom, it seems I can barely get him to speak with me in RL, so convincing him to resubscribe for a few million inf wasn't going to happen.

This person DID switch the chest piece on his costume BUT forgot about being in SG mode which had the Adversity star instead to the maple leaf.
