The handles are two "Small Cable Junctions" or something like that, found under Wall Details.
The thing is, you have to place a cubicle (from Other Furniture I think) inside the fridge to be able to place a wall detail on it, because although desks and cabinets aren't considered walls, cubicles are. Once you've got the cables placed, delete the cubicle. Voila, a fridge.
Strange base editing techniques like that are why rooms under construction usually have stray cubicles, floor safes, and Large Accent Lamps in them.

As Team A.D.D.'s sole base architect I'm continually amazed at the artistry of folks like you, Kiwi. Especially knowing that crazy rigmarole you have to go through like what you described above. It takes 10 steps to trick the base builder into installing handles on the fridge! That's worse than the customer service at Home Depot.

I might steal the idea of a base appartment for JTF7. I still have a lot of work to do on the main rooms first, though.
