Strength through Diversity! Respect and Fun!

Adversity and Animosity were founded right after City of Heroes and City of Villains were launched, in May 2004 and October 2005 respectively.

We understand that each member is here to have fun and plays the game differently, which we respect. These ideas are represented in our group motto above. Overall we are a pretty relaxed group with varied interests in all aspects of the game, but ultimately we enjoy each other's company more than anything else.

We play on the Pinnacle server, but we do occasionally run events on other servers, such as Infinity, Liberty and Justice.


We have several supergroups for heroes and for villains, as listed below:

Rank system

Our ranking system within the groups is based upon corporate themes as listed, with highest rank to lowest rank:
CEO, Vice President, Associate, Assistant and Intern. Each member will have the same rank for all characters in each applicable group.

Kick rule and alts in the main groups

Any character offline for more than 60 days can be subjected to removal from the group if space is needed.

We allow alts in the main group, but dependent upon available space and activity level of the alt.


Supergroup Mode

We do not require that you play in supergroup mode, but it is encouraged now that you do not suffer any significant penalties from staying in it.

Base Storage

Storage is available to anyone at the assistant rank or higher. Donate or take what you need, but please do show some restraint and consideration for what others have placed in storage as well.
