The narration said something about fighting alongside of or against legends such as Superman, Batman, WonderWoman, and Joker... hopefully the 'against' isn't just the Joker......
and i think they have the voice of the guy that do optimus prome in that video as the narrator
Hehe, sorry to disappoint you Krogano, but I'm pretty sure that is not Peter Cullen (voice of Optimus Prime from G1 and the 2007 movie)
Looks very cool, and confirms what I've thought all along about this game, is that you'll play along side with Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, etc. Which means it will probably be just another "clone" (albeit it fantastic looking one with great desgins, Jim lee rules) of CoX, just like Marvel Universe Online was going to be. Still, it might be worth checking it out, and I definitely tend to favor DC a bit more than Marvel.
Like Hexen said, it will be on both the PC and PS3. There were also rumors (nothing more) about the 360 and Wii getting access to this later down the pipe if things went well, but for now, the chances of that happening are only slightly greater than me making a short post
I saw Sinestro in his newest costume as well as Hush! Yeah, having a story arc that gives you access to the Batcave would be cool, but the villains really outdo Vahzilok and Lord Nemesis!!!
Just like Champions and any other MMO I'd be interested in, it will come down to gameplay and community. If I need to buy a new computer just to play, then I'll be waiting.
Honestly, I expect Champions to feel a bit like CoH because it's from the same original developer, but they claim that they've changed the gameplay to eliminate recharge times, etc., so it should be a bit different. I've never played another MMO that played quite like CoH, so I really doubt DCUO will be that similar, except in genre, of course. Part of the reason why I go play LotRO is because I don't really get into the back story of CoH. LotRO is steeped in Tolkien's lore. Hopefully a project headed by Jim Lee will be pretty rich in back story and content.
To summerize, 'We'll see...', but so far it interests me more than Jack's Marvel Universe recovery project.

Looks cool...
But my take on the early trailer?
Looks a little bit choppy.
Doesn't show anything (early on) that is groundbreaking.
Just looks like another way for DC to make money, not to create a new, amazing game.
“DC Universe Online” will come with player-vs.-player options and arenas and special battle zones for multiplayer challenges. Players will also have the option of using an “inspired” character. For example, if you like Batman, you simply click on the bat symbol in the menu screen and the game automatically fills in all the attributes that a character like Batman would have " mastery of the martial arts, increased agility, loads of gadgets. One can also create one’s own “custom” characters.
If it allows you to hit the button and then modify it, I wouldn't mind horribly. There will always be the '8atman' toons out there (just like in CoX).
For my own use, it would be more like how the costume creator now has templates you can choose from. It's a decent starting place, but I'd never pick a pre made costume and then leave it as is.
PS3 = CRAP
