Robin Ambrai

Born in Italy, Robin first developed her magical talents at an early age. Though unable to control them, her powers were solely focused on fire. She had been raised among other mages and was trained to be a witch hunter from the moment she brought forth her first flame. She was trained to hunt witches. By the definition of that society, witches were those with magical powers who had strayed from the path of good and decency.
At the time she turned 16, Robin was assigned to a group of hunters. Not all hunters had magical talents as she soon learned. This first group was merely a training group rounding up rogue witches who were more mad than evil.
Years later she was assigned to another group: The Knights of the Black Rose. At the time there were two others. One who could manipulate energy into powerful blasts. And one who could bend others to his will. This group often called upon the aid of others in dire situations, but were able to hold their own in struggles. The group however was lacking something. Fatigue and injuries were slowing them down and the villains were becoming stronger and stronger.
It was then that the three were invited to join a special task force. This group was known as Adversity. Set upon restore law and order to the city. The combination was an instant success. The streets were being swept clean and no villain would hide anywhere within the city without Adversity finding and rooting them out. In one such mission to remove a gang group, Adversity met in Terra Volta. After the mission Robin gained the odd abilities to manipulate the light around her and others. This eventually allowed her to phase out of real space and sneak around. Before all should could do was manipulate fire and all that went with it.
It was months into the groups existence when Mr. Burke received an urgent call from one of his sources deep within the Shadow Shard. The best Adversity had to offer was assembled and set out for a battle like they had never faced before.
And that is all Robin remembers. She woke up from a coma in a small town. She had been like this for several weeks and for who knows how long until she arrived at the village. When she woke she could remember very little. During her stay in the village, she tried to recall what happened, but it was all a blur. All she knew was that she was defeated. Thus she spent the rest of her stay at the village training. There were other talented individuals to help her shape and control her abilities better. She had even discovered that she could now rip through time and space to recall a friend.
It had been several months since Robin had been to Paragon City. When she returned the first thing she did was look up the old headquarters and had found that much had changed. In spirit of this change, Robin donned a new costume. She hung up her original costume and faces the baddies with new resolve. Ever vigilant, she hopes to find out what really happened to her friends and teammates.
