Adversity and Animosity Affiliated SuperGroups
Some SGs are considered to be more than a coalition, we consider them part of our family and call them affiliated SGs. Below is the format we defined for such groups:
Basic rules
- They must present themself as part of the Adversity SGs and follow our motto. Something like "SG1, powered by Adversity".
- We'll establish coalitions between the affiliated SG and all Adversity SGs (main, alt and 50s).
Global channels
- One of their leaders, approved by us, will be given operator status on our global channels to invite their members when they believe those members fit our style.
- Membership of the Coalition Central channel will depend on member integration with our group (i.e. Adversity leaders need to approve each of their members).
- All members of our global channel are welcome to join our teams and events (SG or coalition).
Other communication resources
- On the website, affiliated SGs will have a banner or a theme identifying their SG (with the "powered by Adversity" saying). They will be given member status to have access to Adversity private members forum.
- There will be a room on the Ventrilo server for the affiliated SG members and their leaders will be given admin rights to moderate their members.
Membership
- There isn't a requirement to add characters to Adversity regular SGs, but all members of our global channel are welcome to do that.
- Adversity doesn't require membership exclusivity, but just to be clear, Adversity members are allowed to add characters to the affiliated SGs.
SG Applicants
- If an applicant looks for Adversity, the affiliated SG cannot recruit that player for their SGs.
- If an applicant looks for an affiliated SG, they obviously can recruit that player, but they must talk about their relationship with Adversity.
Administration rights
- Affiliated SG leaders will have have full normal administrative rights over their group (bases, any of their own web space, naming ranks, etc.).
