Oh, and we are also planning a FFA very soon. This one will be something like 8 vs. 8, if we have a good turnout.

I can't read, for some reason I was thinking this one was a FFA.

Maybe we could do one before the actual match though to warm people up (and encourage them to come by getting free art if they kill a lot of people).

About the FFA, I cannot tell you about the Hero Night, because I don't want to ruin Pax post .

Ah darn, I'll never get enough kills to win art. My precious defenders and controllers aren't exactly deadly... lol...

I've had a number of 1 vs 1 arena matches end in draws because I can lock down or debuff the other person enough that they can't kill me, but I can't deal enough damage to kill them.

*recalls scrappers moving in slo-mo trying to get to me while I madly unload on them until I run out of endurance with no effect*

Hey FX, as this is probably last for an hour, after the matches, we can gather a team and run some missions.

In any case, people need to forget the whole art thing...I was a screw up on my apparent inability to read. 'Sides, there will be a non PvP event in June to get art.


As for this particular event, FX, it will be completely different than last Friday. We'll have larger teams and more buffs going around, so it will be totally different.

That's true. And we'll try to balance the teams if we need to.

Team PvP is waaaay different from 1v1, 2v2 and FFA. Buffs rule in team battles. That's why I haven't signed up with a character. Not sure whether I'll need my blaster or my troller or maybe my PB.

But my question is, are scrappers still gimped? 'Cus I couldn't do jack in that last FFA.

Scrappers, with mainly the exception of Spines, won't do the best since they tend to do S/L damage, which is mostly resisted. Also, difficulties arise with having to be in melee, as compared to say Blasters which have "exotic" damage types and can switch from ranged to melee and vice versa.

In all honesty, yes. But it's not just scrappers, it's all melee types. But that shouldn't discourage you from playing. Scrappers rule in duels and can certainly hold their own in team. They just won't be getting all the kills.

I probably won't be able to stay online too long, but I'm going to make every effort to make an appearance.

My parents are coming over for dinner and to "visit", so I probably won't be able to make it...
