About Us
Welcome to the web site for Adversity, a City of Heroes Supergroup, and Animosity, a City of Villains Villain Group. Our groups are active on the Pinnacle server. Whether you prefer to save the day as a hero or plot to conquer the world as a villain, we're glad you stopped by!
History!
Adversity was formed in May 4th, 2004 in the early days of City of Heroes by a group of heroes known as Mr. Burke, Aurelia and Merger. Orion Pax now leads Adversity and keeps its legacy alive. Since that time, many new members have joined, and two groups, the Muffn Protection Agency and the First Order have merged with us, making us one of the most enduring teams on Pinnacle!
Animosity was formed in October 29th, 2005 at the release of City of Villains. Led by Magia, Animosity is one of the top five supergroups on Pinnacle. Animosity is a very active group that teams up frequently for missions and mayhem!

Everything is optional!
We don't force our members to play in SG mode, donate salvage, use our voice server, post in our forums, join every SG event or anything like that! We want our members to enjoy what we have to offer and choose what they like.
All we ask our members is to follow our motto: "Strength through Diversity! Respect and Fun!". We know different persons play the game, respect everyone and remember we are all here to have fun.
Unique Events!
We hold regular events that are fun and imaginative. Watch our calendar to see when the next event is being held!
Silver Age Team: The Super Hyper Force is a team of heroes inspired by the Silver Age of Comics! These primary color clad heroes join forces regularly to show Paragon City how crimefighting was done in a more civilized time!
Praetorians Team: The alternate dimension versions of our heroes roam the Rogue Isles and plot to conquer the world! The Praetorians were called to spread evil and destruction in Paragon City!
Coalition Nights: On Fridays we gather teams for Task Forces, Trials, Badge Collecting, PvP and more! If it's happening in the City of Games, we're a part of it!

Our group participates heavily in our Supergroup Forums to discuss a wide variety of topics. Communication is one of the keys to our group's fun. New posts are made every day to discuss everything related to the City Games, as well as out-of-game topics, like movies, comics, gossip and more. To help our teams be the best that they can be, we share a Ventrilo server with some coalitioned SGs! All of our members are welcome to use the server and connection info is available to you once you join!

If you would like to join us, post to our Visitors Forum to let us know! You can also join our recruiting channel, AdversityInfo and talk to one of the recruiting officers (as this channel is only used for recruiting, there maybe times when there is no recruiting officer online).
